THE BASTION RE-OPENING - February 2018

The Bastion - the remains of a 16th-century defensive tower which once formed part of Stirling's Burgh Wall, positioned beneath W.H.Smith's in The Thistles shopping centre - is now open to the public once more, after recent restoration and redecoration.

The GhostWalk's Happy Hangman, David Kinnaird, has written new text explaining the significance of this hidden gem, with audio commentary mixed by Barry Frame of The Audio Clinic and wall-displays designed by Ziv Shanmugam.

The Bastion remains a FREE attraction, open from 9am-5.30pm Monday-to-Friday (6pm on Thursdays - for late night shoppers!), and 10am-5pm on Sunays.

The entrance is located to the right of W.H.Smith/Post Office.
