Down through the years Stirling GhostWalk audiences have often asked "Is there a book containing local myths and legends?" And for almost as long the answer has been "Um...no."
Well, no more. 'Channelling' his regular revenential alter-ego, The Happy Hangman, GhostWalk scriptwriter David Kinnaird has collected a few of the most popular tales and monologues from recent shows.
So... enjoy - and rest assured, there are many stories yet to share!
If you enjoyed these tales do the Hangman (and yourselves) a favour: find a story - a local myth, legend or tall tale - and tell it. Keep telling it. It’s something anyone can do, and there is no shortage of raw materials on every street, in every town in the land - it's the 'Cultural Currency' of our communities, and it's a resource we all too often squander in favour of mass-marketed media, films, DVDs, and the like. Let's face it, if it's the weird and the wonderful you are looking for, the chances are that you don't need to stray far from your front door!
